A refund now matches what the sale actually took
- Scan a returned phone and the price already has the discount off it. Sold for £180 with £20 off now offers £160, with a line underneath saying Sold for 180.00, less 20.00 discount — so the figure is explainable to the customer standing there. It used to offer the full £180 and hand back money the sale never took
- The return lands on the right customer. Scanning says who the item was sold to, or who a purchase return's stock came in from, and fills the account in. If a second item came from somewhere else it stops and asks, naming both, rather than quietly putting the refund on one ledger
- An account you chose yourself is never overwritten by a scan
